Renew a domain

Every domain has an expiry date: renew it in time so you don't lose it. In the dashboard open Domains, click the domain name and then the Renew tab.

Auto-renew

With Auto-renew on, we renew the domain for you. Choose how to pay:

  • Credit: 7 days before expiry we charge it to your prepaid credit.
  • Card or PayPal: the first time the secure payment page opens to save them (no charge at that moment; the details stay with the payment provider, not with us). 7 days before expiry we charge the renewal; if it fails we use your credit. Use Change card or Change PayPal account to replace them.
  • Bank transfer: 14 days before expiry we send you the order with the bank details; the renewal starts when the amount reaches our account.

The same applies to hosting and email packs: same choice (Off · Credit · Card · PayPal · Bank transfer) on their renewal page.

  • If your balance is not enough, we email you 7, 3 and 1 day before expiry with a Pay and renew button: complete the renewal in one click by card, PayPal or bank transfer.

Renew now

  1. Under Renew now choose the Duration in years.
  2. Choose the payment method: credit, card or PayPal, bank transfer.
  3. Click Confirm renewal. The years are added to the current expiry, even if auto-renew is on.

Everything that expires

The Renewals menu item shows everything expiring within 45 days: domains, hosting and email packages, soonest first, with the days left (in red in the last 7). The filter icon next to Service shows one type only.

  • From the ⋮ menu you open the service's renewal page.
  • To renew several at once, select them with the checkboxes, choose how to pay in the table footer (credit, card or PayPal, bank transfer) and click Renew selected: one order and one payment, 1 year for each service.
  • Renewal in progress marks a service with a renewal order already open: it can't be selected again.

Several domains at once

In the Domains list select the domains with the checkboxes (the top one selects them all) and, in the table footer, choose the action (enable or disable auto-renew, or Renew 1 year (credit)) and click Apply. Renewing with credit asks for confirmation.

Reminders

30, 15, 7 and 1 day before expiry we email you with a Renew now button that opens this tab. If auto-renew is on, in the last 7 days we only write if the charge doesn't go through.

Every extension can be renewed from the dashboard, including .it, .de and similar.
